Wow, it has been far to long. My poor and stubborn laptop has been out of commission for a few months and we've had no internet. lol. craziness.
SO much has happened. First, God poured grace through friends who have opened their home for us to live rent-free. We are able to put much larger amounts of money towards paying off debt and this is a huge relief and blessing. One that we do not in any way deserve. How great is our GOD!!!
And another big and super happy change is the anticipation of arrival of our first child!!! Yeppers, preggo and due Feb 11, 2010! We found out it's a boy ~ Caedmon Douglas :) And we cannot wait! What a blessing to also be able to save money before the munchkin arrives. Yet what great....hmm....fear? I feel so inadequate in LIVING the Christian life, constantly forgetting my Jesus, constantly looking away. How am I to TEACH the Christian life and faith to one so small? And be the example he looks to? yikes. Pray that over the next few months of waiting we will turn our eyes evermore to Christ, setting our mind and affections ABOVE, remembering our only and TRUE life, becoming so steadfast in Him that the winds of change cannot waver us, nor our love for Him alone, nor our faith in Him. For what is life without Christ? empty and meaningless! May our life and Caedmons be all YOUR'S!!!

- My life is simply, really. In Bible college, I met a man filled with fire and passion...my husband. We are currently learning and falling and learning as we seek to know Christ and to make Him known. Our hearts are to serve Him with every moment of our lives and teach others the freedom and love found in the life of Christ. At this time, we are chillin in KS as we sort through health issues and I see speacialists and seek treatments. We are also working, trying to pay off debt and learn from mistakes that we may live to honor His name in ALL we do. Beyond this, we are beginning to pursue working inner city. Another goal in the coming years is to immerse in the passion and knowledge of others who have and are walking the road of living for Christ, as well as to further our education~this would include Biblically, and, personally, I would also like to pursue a degree in psychology that I may counsel young women. All in all, we are two people seeking to know Christ and to glory in His name and proclaim His faithful goodness among men. That about sums it up...I think :)
